ROSCon UK 2026 is a chance for ROS developers of all levels, beginner to expert, to spend an extraordinary 3 days learning from and networking with the ROS community of the UK in Edinburgh. Get tips and tricks from experts and meet and share ideas with fellow developers.

ROSCon UK is a developers conference. The programme comprised a mixture of networking and social events, workshops, technical talks, and tutorials that introduced you to new tools and libraries, as well as teach you more about the ones you already know. The bulk of the programme focused on contributions from the United Kingdom.

All attendee categories have access to the full conference.

Included: 1 morning tour, 1 afternoon tour, drinks reception, 1 morning workshop, 1 afternoon workshop, gala dinner, all talks, farewell drinks.

In parallel with tours and workshops there will be multiple events and opportunities to network and meet like minded roboteers: e.g. birds of a feather, deep-dive sessions, or the main exhibition venue where sponsors will show off their latest work.

Program Overview

The Thirteenth Annual Conference on Advances in Cognitive Systems will take place from Tuesday, October 6, to Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Informatics Forum of the University of Edinburgh. The conference aims to bring together researchers to advance the original goals of artificial intelligence: to explain cognition and learning in computational terms and to reproduce a broad range of intelligent behaviours and human abilities in computational artifacts.  The conference welcomes many types of research, including demonstrations of new capabilities, empirical studies of implemented systems, and formal analyses of complex tasks.
