Join your fellow Unicorn Community residents to decorate your own piece of pottery at Doodles Ceramics, Edinburgh’s longest established “paint your own” pottery studio located just beside the Meadows.

This event takes place from 4-6pm on Friday 27th November at Doodles Ceramics Café.

This ticket entitles you to decorate a piece of pottery up to the value of £20.

 Please note it can take up to 12 days for the pieces to be fired following the event. We will email you when the item is ready for collection from the Residence Life Office.

The trip takes place on Saturday 27th February 2027 at 12:30pm.

The trip includes a tour (not self-led) and is a great opportunity to learn lots about animals and the work of RZSS.

This private puppy yoga event is only for residents within University of Edinburgh Accommodation. Please note that the tickets are non-refundable. You will be required to present a proof of ticket to access this class.

Ready for a change of scenery? Join us for a fun-filled day trip to St Andrews, Scotland’s stunning seaside town famous for its history, charm, and coastal views!
Our bus will depart from Pollock Halls main reception at 09:45am.  On arrival in St Andrews we will spend the day exploring highlights like St Andrews Castle, the Cathedral, Swilcan Bridge, and the West Sands Beach — with plenty of time for photos, coffee stops, and relaxed wandering through the town’s cosy streets. Whether you’re keen to soak up some local history or just enjoy sea air and good company, this trip is the perfect weekend escape.

Please note that transport is covered in the cost of your ticket for this event, but bring along a few pounds if you fancy treats from local cafés or wish to participate in additional activities. We would recommend bringing your student card with you to access any student discounts. Castle entry is £1 with a Young Scots Card
We’ll arrive back to Pollock around 6pm, so expect a full day of great sights, laughs, and memories with friends.
