Annual meeting of cognitive neuroscientists to present their research.

Kopikon is a biannual conference held around the world featuring experts in the field of language creation (a.k.a. conlanging). Language creation is the art of consciously crafting new languages for a variety of purposes, from international communication, to testing the limits of the human linguistic capacity, to embellishing works of fiction. The event will merge academic and popular interests, introducing both public attendees to some of the broader applications of academic linguistics, and introducing academics to some of the artistic applications of language study.
