The UK Collaborating Centre on Injury and Illness Prevention in Sport (UKCCIIS) is the news of the Global Network of IOC Research Centres, on injury and illness prevention in sport and athlete health protection.

This exciting event will be held in the run-up to the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games, and will be UKCCIISs’ inaugural conference. The conference will bring together sports injury and illness prevention researchers, sport scientists, sport and exercise medicine doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and wider health professionals and showcase some of the most up-to-date research on injury and illness prevention in sport and athlete health protection.

The conference presents speakers and world-leading experts across numerous summer and winter Olympic sports. The event will also provide valuable opportunities to network and engage with speakers and colleagues in the field.
