SSC Uncontracted Braille Competency Course: Unsupported Re-Entry Option

For candidates who have just completed the SSC's three-month distance learning Braille course and not passed the Final Assessment, the SSC is prepared to re-enter candidates for the Braille Final Assessment based on the following criteria:

1. A new full three-part Final Assessment must be undertaken.
2. The Final Assessment must be undertaken within six months of the date of last resit attempt.
3. This option is only open to candidates who have recently completed the whole SSC Braille Competency course and failed for the second time.
4. Payment of £60 is received for each new attempt to cover to cover marking of assessment, moderation of assessment and admin processes required.

Please note that this option does not include any Course Tutor guidance or feedback other than the Final Assessment marking and comments.
