DescriptionThe British Association for Islamic Studies was founded in 2013 with the aim of enhancing research and teaching about Islam and Muslim cultures and societies in UK higher education. BRAIS’s Annual Conference brings together scholars from across the world and from a wide variety of disciplines to explore Islam from a range of methodological and thematic perspectives.
