DescriptionThis is a two-week research school under the ICMS Mathematics for Humanity programme, facilitating interaction between researchers from China, India, and the UK. The programme holds numerous potential benefits for academic research, dissemination, and fostering collaboration. The vision is that this is the first in a series of schools, conferences, and workshops rotating between China, India and the UK. The first week will consist of pedagogical overviews and tutorials of topics in string theory and mathematical physics. There will be a more intensive workshop-style atmosphere in the second week to give participants an overview of contemporary research topics.
