Deposit used for guest staff who need a pass for accessing University bike stores.
Detailed Description
Staff working within University buildings who do not have University ID (e.g., tenants in leased offices; NHS staff) can be granted access to most University bike stores via a guest pass.
A list of University bike stores can be found on our website: https://transport.ed.ac.uk/cycling/facilities/bike-parking
Access to stores by guests must be first requested by emailing transport@ed.ac.uk. Do not buy this product unless instructed to do so by a member of Transport & Parking Office staff.
As we are charged by ISG for the production of these guest passes, we ask users to pay a £5 deposit. This will be refunded if they return the pass.
(Noe that officially registered visiting staff do not need to do this, they should be able to access bike stores with their University-issued visitor ID).
