Description

This is a two-day scientific meeting that aims to highlight the exciting advances in eye development, physiology, disease and therapies. We will also use this event to mark the outstanding contribution of Professor Alan Wright to the field of eye disease genetics over the last 25 years as well highlight emerging vision research projects his work has helped foster.

This multidisciplinary event dedicated to advancing the field of ophthalmic genetics, disease modelling and emerging therapeutics is recommended for both basic researchers and clinicians interested in the changing face of human eye disease.

Topics include:

  • Disease genetics
  • Model organisms
  • Stem cells
  • Gene therapies
  • Advanced ocular imaging
  • Small molecule therapeutics
  • Electronic retinal implants

In addition to the scientific talks, a panel meeting and Q&A for patient groups affected by genetic eye disease will be included after the final session.
